Strategic Partnerships - GCC
David Zabinsky serves Marchant as the Head of Strategic Partnerships in the GCC region. Based in Dubai, he represents the firm by structuring long-term partnerships with entities and investors aligned to our mission of modernizing heavy industry.
He is also Co-Founder and CEO at TRIGEM DMCC, a Dubai-based diamond service provider, where he oversees the factory's day-to-day operations. The company offers diamond boiling, sorting, tendering, and manufacturing services from companies in the UAE, Belgium, the US, and abroad.
David is also concurrently the lead Technical Consultant to USAID's Silk Road Heart Gem Lab project, a gemstone certification laboratory and lapidary to officially open in Kabul, Afghanistan in Q4 of 2020. Prior to his roles at TRIGEM and USAID, David advised North and South American businesses on the FDI opportunities in the UAE in his role as Investment Development Manager with the Government of Ras Al Khaimah (UAE)
Further, David advises regional private family offices on MENA and US business opportunities, and is a contributor to CNN International, discussing Israeli-UAE and US-UAE relations and trade. He is a graduate of Bowdoin College and is fluent in Spanish with varying degrees of knowledge of French and Arabic.
