Director - Private Equity
Adrian Aizenstat is a high energy investment professional with a global track record in real estate, principal investing, and alternative asset categories. Currently, Mr. Aizenstat serves as Marchant's Director of Private Equity, where he is responsible for overseeing all fund-level transactions. Further, Mr. Aizenstat brings his experience in real estate private equity, helping to execute real estate risk mitigation strategies as a function of real assets on acquired companies' balance sheets.
Mr. Aizenstat joins Marchant from Prive Group, a real-estate investment and development firm, where he served as the CFO and SVP. At Prive Group, he was responsible for various aspects of acquisitions, investment, asset management, and strategy.
Prior to joining Prive Group, Mr. Aizenstat served as Principal at Lasa Holdings, a privately held fundless sponsor focused on alternative assets. He started his career at Wells Fargo Bank’s Special Situations Group, where he resolved +$120 million in distressed homebuilder assets during the 2008 housing crisis, and subsequently completed +$600 million in cross-border originations to middle market and corporate clients. In his previous experience, Mr. Aizenstat served in a variety of roles at the New York City Council, Omnicom Group, and Siemens AG.
Mr. Aizenstat earned his MBA at Columbia Business School and his BSBA (Honors Finance Program) from the University of Florida, where he was designated as a Warrington Finance Scholar. He is actively engaged in a number of community, civic and economic development organizations, having held such leadership positions as: Board of Governors, Miami Beach Chamber of Commerce; Board of Directors (The Network), Greater Miami Jewish Federation; Banking and Finance Task Force, and The Beacon Council.
